Paris. Die Stadt der Liebe – oder besser: Die Stadt der teuren Preise. 

Ein Frühlingswochenende im März verbrachten ich und mein Freund in der Stadt des Eiffelturms. Der Mini-Tarif von Air France machte es möglich. Für knapp 90 Euro hin und zurück. Kann man mal machen.

Schon die Suche nach einer günstigen Unterkunft gestaltete sich schwieriger als gedacht. Ja, Paris scheint eine der teuersten Städte Europas zu sein, wurde da schnell klar. Letztendlich wurde es ein süßes kleines Airbnb-Apartment für 50 Euro die Nacht in Montmartre. Das kann man auch mal machen. 

Eines sollte einem aber klar sein, wenn man für ein Wochenende nach Paris reist: Das wird teuer! Ticket für den Zug vom Flughafen Charles de Gaulle zum Gare du Nord? Stolze 9,75€. Und dazu muss man sich noch ein extra Ticket für die Metro kaufen. Das Wochenende beginnt also schon Geldbörsen-belastend.

Dann die Suche nach einem Ort für ein günstiges, schnelles Mittagessen. Im Jardin des Tuileries bezahlt man für ein einfaches Sandwich mit Salat und einem kleinen Wasser ganze 15 Euro – beachtlich! Nach einem mehrstündigen Besuch im Louvre und einem Spaziergang über den Boulevard St. Germain bis zur Notre Dame knurrt der Magen dann schon wieder.

Auf der Suche nach einem bezahlbaren Restaurant fürs Dinner stellt man schnell fest: Entweder wird man von einer Vorspeise satt oder man blecht schmerzhafte 25 Euro für ein Steak mit Pommes.

An Tag zwei dasselbe Spiel. Doch Paris entschädigt seine Besucher für seine Preise.

Im Jardin des Tuileries auf einem der grünen Stühle relaxen und sich die Frühlingssonne auf die blasse Nase scheinen zu lassen, auf einer Bank auf der Champs Elysées sitzen und sich genüsslich Macarons von Ladurée in den Mund zu schieben, den Breakdancern vor der Kathedrale Notre Dame beim Tanzen zuzuschauen, durch die bergigen Straßen von Montmartre zu spazieren oder bei Kerzenlicht ein romantisches Candle Light Diner in einer idyllischen Seitenstraße zu haben – was gibt es schöneres? Paris bietet seinen Besuchern viel „savoir-vivre“ – das Portemonnaie muss danach aber auf Hungerkur gesetzt werden.

P.S.: Unbedingt den Eiffelturm besuchen! Teuer, stundenlang anstehen, aber eine unbezahlbare Aussicht von der dritten Plattform!

Paris. The city of love – or better: The city of high prices. Me and my boyfriend spent a sunny weekend in march in the city of the Eiffel tower. The Air France mini-tariff made it possible. Roundtrip for 90 Euro. Sounds okay.

The search for a cheap place to stay was already a challenge itself. Yes, Paris seems to be one of the most expensive cities in Europe. But we got lucky and found a cute little Airbnb-apartment in Montmartre for 50 Euro per night. Sounds okay, too.

Nevertheless, when traveling to Paris keep one thing in mind: it's gonna be pricy!

Looking for a quick and cheap lunch? Why not pay 15 Euro for a simple sandwich with salad and a small water in the Jardin des Tuileries? After a long visit to the Louvre, a walk along the Boulevard St. Germain and sightseeing in Notre Dame we were hungry again. While looking for a good and not too pricy restaurant it became obvious: Either you get satisfied with a starter or you pay 25 Euro for a steak with french fries.

Day Two: the same game. But Paris is compensating its visitors for theses prices.

Enjoying the sun while relaxing on one of the green chairs in the Jardin des Tuileries, sitting on a bench on the Champs Elysées and eating delicious macarons, watching the breakdancers perform in front of Notre Dame, strolling through the hilly streets of Montmartre or having a candle light diner in an idyllic side street... sounds good, hm?

Paris is offering its visitors a lot of „savoir-vivre“ – the wallet is suffering though.

P.S.: You have to visit the Eiffel Tower! It's expensive, you have to queue for hours, but the view from the third platform is beyond price!

Paris. A cidade do amor. Ou melhor: A cidade dos preços altos. Em março, eu e o meu namorado passamos um soalheiro fim de semana na cidade da Torre Eiffel graças a mini-tarifa de Air France. Ida e volta por 90 euros – ótimo!

Encontrar um alojamento barato foi um grande desafio – Paris parece uma das cidades mais caras na Europa. Mas felizmente encontramos um pequeno apartamento na página web „Airbnb.com“ por 50 euros por dia. Ótimo também!

Apesar disso uma coisa é obvia: um fim de semana em Paris vai ser caro. Bilhete pelo comboio aeroporto Charles de Gaulle – Gare du Nord: 9,75€ – pimba! E isso não contém bilhete pelo Metro.

O fim de semana começa caro!

A procurar um almoço simples e barato? No Jardin des Tuileries uma sande com salada e uma pequena água custam 15 euros. Depois uma visita longa no Louvre, um passeio por Boulevard St. Germain e visitaram a catedral Notre Dame estivemos com fome outra vez.

Rápidamente constatámos que ou comemos só uma entrada, ou pagamos 25 euros por um bife simples com batatas fritas.

Dia dois: a mesma coisa! Mas Paris compensa os seus visitantes por estes preços.

Desfrutar de sol no Jardin des Tuileries, comer macarons deliciosos num banco na rua Champs Elysées, observar os breakdancers em frente da catedral Notre Dame, dar um passeio nas ruas montanhosas de Montmartre ou ter um jantar a luz de velas numa travessa idílica … soa ótimo, hm?

Paris oferece muito „savoir-vivre“ aos seus visitantes – mas o porta-moedas sofre.

P.S.: Deve visitar a torre Eiffel sem falta! É caro, tem de fazer bicha por horas, mas a vista da terçeira plataforma é impagável!
