#beautyrrriot: Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion review

Schon eine ganze Weile bin ich um diese Lotion herumgetingelt, irgendwie ist sie aber doch nie in meine Einkaufstüte gewandert. Das lag vor allem am stolzen Preis. 
Vor ein paar Wochen konnte ich dann nicht mehr widerstehen - immerhin vereint die violette Version der "Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion" meine zwei Lieblingsduftnoten miteinander: Lavendel & Kokos!
Bei &otherstories habe ich sie mir endlich gekauft - 12 Euro für 237 ml sind allerdings schon ordentlich! Worte wie "fairtrade" oder "Biokosmetik" lassen manche allerdings ihren Verstand ins Portemonnaie rutschen. Umso höher waren meine Erwartungen und die meiner trockenen Haut. 

Die große Ernüchterung kam dann aber schon nach der ersten Benutzung: Abgesehen vom wirklich tollen und relativ lang anhaltenden Duft hinterlässt die Lotion einen wirklich unangenehmen, klebrigen Film auf der Haut. Der zieht zwar schnell ein, aber das spannende Gefühl auf der Haut, wenn ich meine Arme oder Beine beuge, ist wirklich unangenehm - das will ich auch nicht für nur 2 Minuten haben! Meine Haut hat sich nach dem Eincremen nicht wirklich gepflegt und mit Feuchtigkeit versorgt angefühlt. Das unangenehme Gefühl direkt nach dem Auftragen haben übrigens auch Freundinnen von mir festgestellt.

Für diesen Preis wird es diese Lotion also trotz tollen Geruchs nicht noch einmal in mein Badezimmer schaffen.

I was thinking about buying the "Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion" already for quite a while. Somehow I never purchased it because the price was keeping me from it. 
A few weeks ago I couldn't resist anymore. Since the lotion combines my two favourite scents - lavender & coconut - I finally bought it.
I bought it in the &otherstories store on Ku-Damm in Berlin. Anyhow, 12 euro for 237 ml is a lot! But words like "fairtrade" or "bio cosmetics" don't let me think properly anymore. So, my expectations were high - very high!

Already after the first use the big disappointment was there: apart from the really great and intensive smell, the lotion leaves a sticky and nasty film on the skin. This diminishes quickly, but still I don't like the weird feeling that it leaves on the skin - not even for 2 minutes! My skin doesn't feel very nourished after the application. The uneasy feeling on the skin wasn't only realized by me, but also by friends of mine!

So after all this, I will most likely not buy the "Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion" again for this high price.

Já estava a pensar em comprar a loção "Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion" há muito tempo, mas de qualquer maneira nunca comprei, porque é muito cara. 
Há umas semanas não pude resistir mais e comprei a loção - uma vez que combina os meus cheiros favoritos: lavanda e coco! Comprei-a na &otherstories em Berlim por 12 euros, mas só contém 237 ml e por isso acho que é um pouco cara.
No entanto palavras como "fair trade" ou "cosmética biológica" levam-me à loucura. As minhas expectativas eram altas!

Mas já depois do primeiro uso eu fiquei frustrada. O cheiro é muito delicioso, mas a loção cola na pele - eu detesto isso! A loção penetra na pele bastante rapidamente, mas não consigo aceitar que cole tanto (amigas minhas também acham o mesmo). E também a minha pele não parece muito nutrida depois o uso.

Então, por este preço não vou comprar a "Dr. Bronners Magic Lotion" mais uma vez!
